Author Visit

At our school we had an author coming to visit us. Her name is Jenny Sommervell. The books that Jenny made are the Day My Dad Blow Up The Cowshed,The Eel Hunt,The New Old Truck.I learned that when you are seven or a teen you can write yourself a story or you can show it to your friends.

    Hi Bella
    Which of Jenny Sommervell's books did you like best? My favourite was The Eel Hunt. I especially liked finding out some things about eels that I didn't know before (that the little eels are called glass eels). I also liked the part in the story when one of the characters stepped in a dead cow...Can you imagine what that would have felt like? I wonder if he had bare feet when he did that. What do you think?
